Synopsis

Joan Grainger, a salesgirl in a jewelry store, is framed for robbery by the floorwalker, Simpson, a member of a gang led by Bennett Barton, and by Dolly, another salesgirl. Barton rescues her from prison and takes her to Paris, where he intends to use her to blackmail millionaires. At the Folies-Bergère, Joan is rescued from an escaped lioness by wealthy John Warren. They return on the same boat to America and fall in love. In New York, Warren obtains a confession from Dolly. Barton tries to obtain the confession but is killed by Simpson, who is also after the paper. Joan is finally exonerated, and Warren wins her hand.
