Synopsis
Eleanor Carter smiles at a child in a resort hotel, and Bill Taylor, thinking her attention is directed to him, incurs her indignant wrath. Following her in an automobile, Bill saves Eleanor from an accident, but she is stopped for speeding by "Hard-Boiled" Hogan; Eleanor tells him that she and her "husband" are racing home to their "sick baby," and the officer follows them to Eleanor's apartment to see the baby. While Eleanor stalls Hogan, Bill experiences a series of wild adventures searching for an infant, and finally he prevails upon Mr. Boppo, a dwarf, to impersonate a baby. All goes well until Eleanor's parents arrive and Mr. Boppo returns to his jealous wife. Bill and Eleanor are forced to escape in an airplane, and they are about to be married by a minister when the pursuit is resumed. But all ends happily.
