Synopsis

In Bolivia, Cuban guerrilla Che Guevara and his comrades are attempting to incite a Marxist revolution, despite the apathy of the civilian population. After embarrassing the Bolivian army and frustrating the CIA, Che is pursued through the jungles and finally captured in a battle. On orders from La Paz, the military unofficially executes him on 9 October 1967 so that he will not appear to be a martyr and further strain delicate Latin American foreign relations.
