Synopsis

Sexually precocious Juliette is caught masturbating and expelled from a rural convent school. She makes her way to Rome and moves in with Toni, with whom she has a brief lesbian affair. Toni introduces Juliette to Foro, a disciple of the teachings of Marquis de Sade. Foro becomes Juliette's spiritual adviser; he buys her a car and persuades her to indulge all of her whims and desires. She has an affair with a doctor, takes a nude ride on a motorcycle, and learns to steal for thrills. Toni becomes jealous of Juliette's lover and attempts to blackmail her. Juliette sees Toni apparently drowning in the sea and does not help her. Juliette is given LSD by a hippie and has a bad trip. She discovers that Toni did not drown, but was killed later in an automobile accident. Juliette decides to leave behind her decadent life in Rome and go to Nairobi.
