Synopsis

Winding its way across western Kansas, a wagon train led by Gordon Kent includes Katy Hale, who is running away from her husband with Bill Henry, and Buffalo Bill, who is seen performing kindnesses for an Indian and for a runaway slave. Six months later, Buffalo Bill learns that the railroad is coming through, and he plans with William Rose to build a new town on its route. However, when they refuse train-town locator Roy Webb's offer to "buy in," the latter threatens to change the route, and the entire town moves to a new site, which crosses Kent's property. Enraged, Kent and Buffalo Bill get into a fight with the railroad surveyors, and White Spear starts a buffalo stampede, which endangers Kent's fiancée, Millie. Kent rescues Millie, Buffalo Bill diverts the stampede, Webb agrees to purchase the property rights, and Katy is reunited with her husband.
