Synopsis

Newton Craddock, a shipping clerk, and Thomas Kirtland, vice president of the same company, have similar marital problems--suspicious, spendthrift wives. Their lives cross when Newton is asked to deliver a letter to Kirtland. Newton witnesses a scene in which Kirtland calls a halt to his wife's behavior: Newton then gains the confidence to do the same with respect to both his own wife and his bullying foreman. Both couples are reconciled, and Newton is promoted.
