Synopsis

Ralph Norton, man-about-town and wealthy favorite in Broadway society circles, is attracted to Helen Tremaine, but her flirtatious behavior causes him to reject the superficial life of his set. He seeks seclusion in a sidestreet roominghouse frequented by theatrical people, and there he meets Rose Dulane, a working girl. When she is fired because of a past jail sentence, Ralph passes her off as his ward in theatrical circles, but she is disillusioned when a detective tries to frame her. Ralph intervenes and decides to take her away and begin a new life.
