Synopsis

Marion Wells and the dog Brawn go to Alaska to join her brother, Lester, and Howard Burton, her fiancé. The men quarrel, Burton kills Lester, and Brawn drags Marion through a storm to Peter Coe's cabin. Peter forces marriage on her, but she leaves him and sells Brawn to support herself. When Peter finds the dog mistreated by his new owner, he rescues Brawn and returns him to Marion, who now realizes that she loves Peter. Sometime later, while making a trip into town with their baby, Marion and Peter leave their sled to search for Brawn, who has succumbed to the charms of Lady Silver and followed her. They return to find their baby gone, but later they discover that Brawn came back to save the baby from a pack of wolves and carried her to a missionary's cabin.
