Synopsis
Braveheart, a young Indian brave, is sent east to study law in order to prepare himself to defend the tribe's hereditary fishing rights, which are endangered by Hobart Nelson, the avaricious president of a fish-canning combine. While at college, Braveheart becomes an outstanding scholar and an All-American football player, but his work there comes to nothing, for, in order to save his friend Frank Nelson from disgrace, he confesses to selling football signals to an opposing team and is expelled. He is an outcast from his tribe as well, but goes into court and wins the fishing rights for his people. Ki-Yote, a troublemaker, incites the tribe to kidnap Nelson and his daughter, Dorothy, with whom Braveheart is in love. Braveheart rescues the Nelsons, but he denies his love for the white girl and marries one of red blood instead.
