Synopsis
Tim Brady accuses Norman Strong, known as the "Bowery Bishop" because he conducts a mission, of seducing Venitia Rigola, the girl he loves, when he finds her and her illegitimate child living in Strong's mission. Brady wrecks the mission and causes Strong's dismissal when he refuses to deny that it was he who wronged Venitia. Strong returns and is shot in a fight with a gang, but he recovers. A trial reveals that he was protecting Philip Foster, a young lawyer, who admits his mistake and is paroled in Strong's custody. Foster marries Venitia.
