Synopsis

Jason Orry vows to kill his father for abandoning Jason's mother years before, but Stephen Orry dies a natural death, so Jason seeks revenge against Sunlocks, Stephen's son by another wife. The half brothers fall in love with the same woman, Greeba, but she loves only Sunlocks. Jason learns that Sunlocks and Greeba have left for Iceland, and so follows them there, still not sure what Sunlocks looks like. In Iceland, Jason is imprisoned and shackled to another man. After the two escape, and Greeba embraces the other man, Jason realizes that he had been chained to his enemy, Sunlocks. While Jason is pardoned, Sunlocks is recaptured and sentenced to be shot. Jason, aware of Greeba's grief, releases Sunlocks, remains in Sunlocks' cell and is executed in the place of the man he had sworn to kill.
