Synopsis
Arriving in London, a British vampire and his wife seek the remaining relations of the Fords, whose blood has nourished their family for centuries. A female descendant, who has become pregnant by an artist, is confronted by the vampire in preacher's guise. His identity so concealed, the vampire, hoping to obtain both blood and baby, proposes to perform the ceremony uniting woman and artist. Another female Ford, bitten by the fiend, permits the vampire's entourage to feast on her husband. A maid is killed with knitting needles, a hunchbacked servant is burned alive, and another Ford is slain. At a blood feast, the vampire persuades his disciples to emigrate to America, leaving the ancestral Carfax Abbey to the newlywed vampires.
