Synopsis

Ordered out of his sight by his father, the scapegrace son of a millionaire obeys orders and wins notoriety out West as the "Blue Streak" because of his facility with a gun and skill on horseback. Strolling into the town of Sterling one day, The Streak prevents a forced marriage between The Fledgling, who is the daughter of the saloon keeper, and a gambler. Riding off with the girl to his retreat, The Streak is overcome with the realization that he interfered with a shotgun marriage. He rides back to town, captures the gambler and brings him to the cabin. The girl protests that the gambler has not harmed her, but The Streak will not listen. In desperation, The Fledgling goes through with a fake marriage ceremony. Afterwards, miles away on the horizon, The Streak sees a posse approaching to arrest him. He bids The Fledgling farewell and prepares to surrender when she begs him to flee, and after he refuses, she rushes into his arms crying out that she loves him. Lifting her to his mount, the two gallop away to begin a new life in his old home.
