Synopsis

When Harvard expels Algernon DuPont, as punishment his millionaire father throws him out of the family mansion. Algernon drives out West with his butler, and along the way, despite his "blue blood," he proves that he has a fair amount of grit when he wins two hundred dollars by knocking out a professional fighter. When Algernon gets to cattle country, he falls in love with the daughter of a wealthy rancher. A jealous cowboy plots to have Algernon lynched, but Algernon, using his fists and guns, manages to avoid a hanging. He marries the rancher's daughter and, after twins are born, the whole family goes back East, where a reconciliation takes place between father and son.
