Synopsis
Young physician Bradley Yates, on the verge of a nervous collapse in his search for an effective serum to counteract blood poisoning, retires to the Blue Ridge Mountains to regain his health. As a woodsman, he is accepted by his neighbors in a mountain community. When the state enforces the school law and sends a young schoolteacher, a romance develops between her and Yates, but gossip links him with Talithy, a local girl, and he is suspected of seducing her. The arrival of Dr. Forbes, his partner, with the perfected serum and the testimony of an eyewitness clear him, and all ends happily.
