Synopsis
Sheldon Bart is a drifter and con man who runs into his old friend Brother Bud in a small town. Bud is holding revival meetings and fencing stolen cars on the side. Soon after Sheldon starts working with Bud, he falls in love with local supermarket checker Arlene, a lonely, religious woman, and believes in UFOs, and had a vision that a UFO is coming and that she is chosen by the aliens for a special mission. The two con men have different reactions to her vision.
