Notes

It is unclear to what extent the footage of The Velvet Underground and Nico was included in the initial presentation of Andy Warhol's mixed media show in New York on February 8, 1966. Filming took place at each show; the episodes were known as the "Uptight" series. Footage of the New York City police breaking up a performance May be included in the film. Split-screen projection was apparently involved in the developing multi-media presentation, known as The Exploding Plastic Inevitable or as Plastic Inevitables (Velvet Underground).
