Synopsis

After spending most of her father's money Gloria marries Tony, and the two continue their reckless, spendthrift ways. When Tony's grandfather, Adam Patch, dies and leaves Tony nothing but his blessing, the couple try unsuccessfully to work, then return to their frantic pursuit of pleasure. A near collision with a train brings Gloria to her senses, but Tony takes a while longer to decide to end his worthlessness. They break Adam's will and sail for Europe resolved to make good.
