Synopsis
Based Wayne Barrett's book about the ups and downs of Rudy Giulian's' career, beginning when he was a young attorney working for the Reagan era Justice Department and the romantic beginnings with his future ex-wife, Donna Hanover. The story follows his rise to US District Attorney, his defeat to David Dinkins and subsequent victory for Mayor of New York, the failure of his marriage and how he became a national hero after the 9/11 tragedy.
