Synopsis
The story of Dr. Helen Caldicott's work as an anti-nuclear power activist is told. Caldicott, also a pediatrician, mother, and author, was a pivotal figure in the international campaign for nuclear disarmament, and worked to inform the public about the medical dangers of using nuclear power. The footage for the fim was shot between 1978 and 1980, critical years in the debate about nuclear energy.
