Synopsis
The second of two pilots about Paul Taylor, a sportswriter who, after a motorcycle accident, dies on the operating table. After two minutes of clinical death, he is revived by doctors. Taylor, however, retains a thread tying him to the world of beyond -- a connection through which the dead can compel him to seek out people he has never seen and protect them from the deadly forces of the occult. In the second suspenseful story, a supernatural inner voice brings Taylor to a remote island off the coast of Maine to seek out Marian Faber and protect her and her brother Frank from a "golem," an evil spirit Frank created from mud that now seeks only to kill.
