Synopsis
The story of Orville Darrow, an aging sheriff, and his attempts to maintain law and order in the town of Donegan. In the pilot episode, Darrow attempts to protect a cowardly citizen, acquitted of killing one of the notorious Clinton brothers, from the remaining brothers who have come to town seeking revenge. The title is derived from the fact that Darrow is the father of five sons, all sharpshooters (who assist him) and an infant daughter; thus six guns to protect the town of Donegan.
