Synopsis
A woman takes a dangerous man into her home, thinking that he is her long-lost brother. Jennifer, a successful lawyer, is satisfied with her life except for the regret she feels that her poverty-stricken mother had to give up her younger brother, Willie. She has searched for him over the years with no luck. When Jennifer defends a young drifter charged with murder, she begins to believe that he is her long-lost brother. After winning his case, she invites him to live with her, against the warnings of her police officer boyfriend. As the truth about her "brother" emerges, Jennifer is the last to see it.
