Synopsis
A television movie about a businessman struggling to rebuild his life and care for his newborn baby after his wife's death. Scott Grimes is ambivalent about starting a family, but his wife Sue's enthusiasm makes him feel more comfortable. When Sue dies in childbirth, Scott is devastated by the loss and overwhelmed by the responsibility of taking care of his newborn daughter, Katie. While his wife's estranged mother and co-worker try to help him adjust, he resists getting too close to Katie. His frustration builds as he battles unsuccessfully with the day-to-day demands of coping with an infant while running his small real-estate business.
