Synopsis
A comedy pilot about Jerry Bender, an Assistant Deputy Mayor in New York City, who receives flack from his actress wife, Anne, their three children, and his professional peers. In the pilot, Jerry and Anne Bender's plans for a simple dinner with the family to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary are interrupted when their youngest son, Max, comes home claiming he was mugged. Meanwhile, their oldest son, Daniel, a street musician, hopes it won't rain on his performance in front of Carnegie Hall, and daughter Krissy, a psychologist, analyses her family's problems.
