Synopsis
A couple hiking near Portland, Oregon, navigating without a map, end up lost. Five days later, they are fighting for their lives in the wilderness. A trained volunteer Search and Rescue Team member cross-country skiing alone in the Sierra Nevada mountains is caught off guard by a heavy snowstorm. He relies on his survival knowledge in order to get out alive. Two friends rock-climbing in Phoenix, Arizona, climb a sheer cliff and prepare to rappel down when one falls 40 feet to the ground. A jogger running on a remote trail in Grand Teton National Park is suddenly attacked by a 700-pound grizzly bear. He must decide whether to stay and wait for help or drag himself through the forest.
