Synopsis
A proposed, but unsold, series of romantic short stories by famous authors. The pilot episode presents three stories: In Story 1, Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s "Epicac," a computer engineer attempts to win the affections of a co-worker by sending her love poems composed by the giant computer he programs in the small hours of the morning. Story 2, "Kiss Me Again, Stranger" by Daphne Du Maurier, tells of a lonely veteran's eerie romance with a murderess. In Story 3, "The Fortunate Painter," by Somerset Maugham, a father schemes to help his daughter marry a penniless artist.
