Synopsis
The fourth part of a limited series which provides a satiric look at the campaign of a fictional U.S. presidential candidate. In this episode, Tanner is attempting to rebound from a split with a politically influential southern minister. Forced to resort to stern measures, he freezes his media director out of the campaign and meets with a group of Washington supporters, who offer advice on how to get elected. Faced with a scheduling dilemma, Tanner tries to appear both at an important Congressional hearing and to participate at a demonstration at the South African embassy.
