Synopsis
Documentary examining the facts and the myths surrounding the giant squid. Epic poems, legends, books and classic motion pictures have spoken of terrifying sea monsters attacking ships, lunging up out of the ocean and pulling sailors into the abyss. Some of these reports are now believed to be based on giant squids, which are believed to grow to nearly 60 feet in length, to sport nature's largest eyes and to have toothed suckers on tentacles and arms reaching 40 feet in length. Includes never-before-seen footage of these sea creatures.
