Synopsis

Three real-life stories about ordinary Americans doing extraordinary things. Susan Walton, a surviver of the Oklahoma City bombing, received a flood of donations to help repair her shattered body. This inspired her to help impoverished single mothers build a better life for themselves by preparing them for job interviews with donated clothing. Henri Landiwirth escaped a firing squad at Auschwitz when he was 18 and came to America with just $20. He lived to build a hotel empire in Florida and founded "Give Kids the World" village that provides sick kids and their parents with trips to Florida's theme and amusement parks. Crandallyn Graham turned the tragedy of her son's murder by a high-school dropout into a crusade to get other children to stay in school and better their lives.
