Synopsis
Documentary that explores the final moments of the U.S.S. Arizona. When the U.S.S. Arizona was struck in Pearl Harbor she was full of one million gallons of fuel oil. It is estimated that the ship still holds around 500,000 gallons of oil and is leaking more than a quart a day. The National Park Service, the site's custodian, wants to raise public awareness about the Arizona's predicament. The program features never-before-seen footage of the ship's interior, interviews with Pearl Harbor veterans and presents the various options available for preservation.
