Synopsis

Filming over a three-year period, documentarian Richard Kotuk presents not only the roller-coaster of hope, pain, improvements and setbacks intrinsic to the disease, but also introduces us to an extended family -- from Travis' indomitable grandmother to neighbors who make up the community of Highbridge -- whose support and love form the essence of Travis' daily life.
