Synopsis
Max Hanson is an 18-year-old with a picture-perfect family, close friends and a passion for ice hockey; but trouble brews beneath the facade. His domineering mother, Sophie, lives vicariously through her son, and Max's father, Ed, is unable to bridge the gap between the two. When Max meets Molly White, a new girl at college, he is drawn into a world of drugs, and before long, he is addicted to heroin. A tragedy convinces Max that his life is out of control and in danger.
