Synopsis

Documentary about the two most lethal predators in the hills and mountains of South Africa -- the Black Eagle and the Caracal. The paths of these two species are intimately entwined not only in habitat, but also in competition for prey. But both are equally affected by forces which alter their habitat or prey. Arid and harsh climate conditions and the ever encroaching human populations in the region force these two species to compete even more fiercely for food, and they are forced to invade nearby farmlands in search of domestic animals to feed their young.
