Synopsis
A modern-day version of the story of Noah, the Biblical patriarch who is chosen to build an ark and fill it with animals before a flood threatens the world. Norman Waters is a general construction contractor, widower and single father who has become insensitive to those around him. His life is transformed when Zach, a heavenly character, instructs him to build an ark using the blueprints he has brought with him. Angela, a pet shop owner, volunteers to collect all the animals. Though he and his family struggle through the project, and despite the ridicule of the community, he completes the ark in 40 days with a new appreciation for his family, his life and his community.
