Synopsis
A young couple struggles to get by with two jobs and two children. Their home burns down, and the husband, the former superintendent of the building, is left unemployed. After several unsuccessful attempts to find work, the husband decides to leave town and seek work elsewhere, leaving his family behind, where they eventually wind up living on the streets.
