Synopsis

College professor Gwen Barton hires Dalton Roy to do yard work through a prison work furlough program. At first, Gwen sees herself as mentor to the handsome, young African-American, but soon finds herself in the unexpected throes of passion. This is the first time romance has entered her life. Passion transforms the prim professor who discovers an intense sexuality within herself that she never knew existed. When Dalton is released, Gwen has plans for his life. She enrolls him in college, rents an apartment for him, makes a down payment on a truck and finds him his first clients. In returns, she expects his continued attention. But now that he is a free man, Dalton wants to escape her control. When Dalton becomes interested in a pretty college classmate, Gwen's intense sexual infatuation begets fury. She wants revenge on the man who spurned her. How far will she go? How does a black man with a prison record defend himself against a respectable white woman bent on destroying his life?
