Synopsis
In the near future, violent crimes are down thanks to Gangster World, computer-run theme park in which patrons are encouraged to fulfill their darkest desires with androids without ever being in real danger. The park's owner orders his young, programming genius, Garland Widmark, to install a more advanced computer system that will enable the park to run itself. However, on the eve of the scheduled changeover, chaos reigns in the park: an "Outsider" has gotten loose in Gangster World and is eliminating security guards; usually harmless androids are malfunctioning to a deadly degree. Widmark discovers that he has been targeted for assassination. When his girlfriend Lita is taken hostage, Widmark forms an unlikely alliance with The Outsider. Together, they manage to save Lita and repair the park's system.
