Synopsis
Buried in the dust of east Texas and other small towns are little-known stories of America's secret Nazi prison camps. German soldiers were shipped there at nearly 7200 a week, totaling 380,000 by the end of the war. Former Nazi prisoners and American guards relate stories of kangaroo courts and secret murders conducted at the camps; display painting and carvings left behind by prisoners; and discuss the acceptance of and resentment toward the POWs by townspeople where these camps were stationed.
