Synopsis
German and British veterans return to the scene of the first major World War II battle that involved a large-scale paratroop assault. In May 1941, 10,000 German paratroopers attacked Crete. Over half were killed during the Nazi victory. While the Nazis abandoned the use of paratroopers after sustaining high casualties, Churchill ordered a British paratroop force to be created based on the German model, a decision that would come back to haunt him at Arnhem in 1944.
