Synopsis
The overall title for four original plays. In Story 1, "Natasha Kovolina Pipishinsky" (written by Murray Schisgal), a wealthy businessman (Lawrence) decides to forsake his riches for the love of a beautiful Russian ballerina (Natasha). Story 2, "The Quiet War" (written by Neil Simon), reunites a retired Russian admiral and general who meet in a park to relive the thrill of battle in a sit-down war of words. "Word of Mouth," Story 3 (written by Herb Gardner), focuses on a middle-aged dentist (Jack) who decides to take a bigger bite out of a world he feels is passing him by. In Story 4, "Swordsplay" (written by Peter Ustinov), an American officer and his British counterpart decide on a unique way of ending the Revolutionary War by dueling to the death.
