Synopsis

A television movie based on actual events concerning the rescue of a single-engine Cesna airplane lost over the Pacific. Low on fuel, the pilot of the Cessna radios for help; the only plane anywhere near his position is a commercial airliner. Although they have contact, the single-engine pilot cannot regain his bearings. Despite stormy weather, limited fuel and the Cessna pilot's increasing exhaustion, the commercial airline captain, as well as the plane's passengers, eventually help guide the lost plane to safety.
