Synopsis

For centuries, rumors have circulated around the world that within the murky depths of Loch Ness in Scotland, lives a huge dinosaur-like beast. Despite over 1000 sightings, 20 major expeditions and numerous photographs and films, concrete evidence of the creature has remained elusive. Several scientific expeditions attempted to dispel the myth of Loch Ness. All have been inconclusive. An expedition called the Global Underwater Survey Team (GUST), lead by Jan Sundberg, sweeps the length and breadth of the Loch over a two-week period. Using the latest sonar technology, the team searches, but finds nothing. Some scientists believe the large creature (either a plesionaurs or a large eel) lives in a cave, only coming to the surface once in a while. However, due to the lack of limestone in the area, no such cave could exist.
