Synopsis
Documentary about pin-ups, the girls next door behind closed doors. The program reveals that pin-ups were created for the G.I.'s in World War II, to remind "our boys" what they were fighting for. The photographs were originally taken as publicity stills for studios, but when soldiers overseas started writing production companies begging for their favorite pictures, Hollywood PR machines latched onto the idea and created similar shots for many of their young hopefuls. The program also interviews a modern-day pin-up -- Cindy Margolis.
