Synopsis

The photographs were originally taken as publicity stills for studios, but when soldiers overseas started writing production companies begging for their favorite pictures, Hollywood PR machines latched onto the idea and created similar shots for many of their young hopefuls. The program also interviews a modern-day pin-up -- Cindy Margolis.
