Synopsis
An original sci-fi thriller that parallels the story of the theatrical film "Pitch Black." In the theatrical film, a transport shuttle carrying notorious serial killer Richard Riddick (Vin Diesel) crashes on an uncharted planet, leaving the surviving passengers to fend for themselves against its deadly nocturnal inhabitants. The television special shows the response to the crash on Earth, as the government searches for Riddick. Anxious to relocate and apprehend the vicious murderer, they employ a no-nonsense, cybernetically-enhanced, mercenary-for-hire to bring him back -- dead or alive.
