Synopsis

Bill Erwin is her dear old Paiute Indian friend; Victoria Racimo is his adopted daughter whom McGuire has educated as a lawyer; Richard Farnsworth is the sympathetic sheriff, a long-time family friend; and Bo Hopkins is the water department's chief engineer who is reluctant to fight the widow.
