Synopsis
Sarah Gladstone, the mayor of the small town of St. Nicholas, must find a doctor for the local hospital before Christmas or it will shut down. When Sarah and the other residents learn that Mike Greiser is returning to town for Christmas, it spurs them into action. The recently widowed Mike, a successful surgeon, is coming home with his young daughter Jilly to celebrate the holidays with his father Bob. As Mike and Jilly drive into town, they are welcomed with fanfare from the locals, Sarah and Bob. Everyone encourages them to stay, but Mike is reluctant to return until he rekindles a romance with his high school sweetheart, Sarah.
