Synopsis
An updated version of "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show " (which aired on CBS from 1950 to 1958) involving a level-headed husband, Jerry, as he struggles to cope with and solve the situations that occur through the actions of his scatterbrained wife, Laurie. As George Burns did in his series, Jerry is aware of a viewing audience and speaks directly into the camera to recap the story and attempt to straighten out the situations that have arisen due to Laurie's meddling. In the pilot, complications arise when Laurie pretends to be Mona, her best friend, and keep the doctor's appointment the real Mona forgot--and didn't cancel.
