Synopsis

Telefilm based on Danny Field's biography about photographer and activist Linda Eastman McCartney and her 30-year relationship with musician Paul McCartney, beginning as the Beatles headed toward their breakup and ending in 1998 with Linda's death from breast cancer at age 55.

In 1965, Linda Eastman is a single mother with a passion for rock music and the musicians who create it. A photographer with the ability to put her subjects very much at ease, Linda is offered an assignment at Rolling Stone, a new publication covering the rock scene. Linda's attorney father, Lee, is not impressed and his approval is not forthcoming. But, Linda is determined to take the job and goes to London to photograph the Beatles. Linda and Paul first meet in a London nightclub where he invites her to join him and his friends when they leave for another club. They both are aware that something special is happening between them. The couple eventually marries, much to the chagrin of Paul's fans and other members of the famous band.
