Synopsis
In the urban neighborhood where Dane Washington grew up, each day was a fight for survival. Eager to escape, Dane became an attorney in the corporate world and from that moment on, never discussed his past. Inevitably, the past catches up with Dane when his childhood friend, Trevor, tracks him down with the intention of bringing him back into the fold. When they meet at their old hangout, a neighborhood bar, Dane is reminded that Trevor and the friends they grew with don't play by the rules. Returning to them could jeopardize everything he's worked for. But as the music, familiar faces, and the warmth of Trevor's friendship begin to take affect, Dane finds himself longing for what he left behind. By the end of the night, Dane must choose between re-connecting with his roots, or turning his back on them forever.
